Serna sighed wistfully, "I wish a man would do that for me. Stand forth and proclaim his undying love. True, it was a bit loud, but Master Willow Bark truly do love High Lady Alyson and he just couldn't control how he felt about her. It really was sweet."
"I suppose it would be nice," Kana mused, then made a silly face with her tounge sticking out. "But nothing that loud, no matter what his feelings are."
The young girl giggled with a mischievous wink of the eye, "Mistress Kana, I think I know of one within our group who has an eye for you--guess!"
Kana lifted her head and stared at Serna. "Who is that?" she asked in disbelief. She thought about the past few days and couldn't think who.
Serna giggled again, "Master Tommy, silly, don't you remember when we were back on the plain? He complimented you on having a nice tail. He! He! He!"
"Master Tommy?!?" Kana asked in disbelief. "How did you get that out of his comment?"
The young girl smiled, "Now, it could be just a compliment, Mistress Kana, but with guys you never know. It could be an invitation to a whole lot more, if you know what I mean? He! He! He!"
"How is it that you know so much? I would only dare to say that he was just being nice, nothing more," Kana replyed as she put her head down to relax again. "And I really couldn't tell you what I thought, because I really don't know. What to do or say or anything dealing with guys. Never thought about it before."
"NEVER?!" squeaked Serna in wide-eyed disbelief, "Wow! Mistress Kana, you never had a guy ask you out to dinner? Or take you to a play? Or serenade you from a balcony? Or walk hand-in-hand with you on a moonlit stroll through the woods?! NEVER?!"
Kana's Ex-Servant shook her head in disbelief, "Wow! You really haven't lived until you find at least one guy to do one of those things for you, Mistress Kana. You really shouldn't miss out on love it can be a very beautiful thing."
"I think I'm a little to wild for normal courtship," the Wolfen said as she lifted her head to look at Serna and gave another silly face. "And what about you?"
Serna giggled at the silly faces that Kana made, "You're never too wild to fall in love, Mistress Kana, you just need to find someone as wild as you, that's all. As for me, I've been in love before, last year, there was this guy named Devon who used to bring deliveries to the palace. We had a lot of fun together until he got fired for stealing from his boss."
The young girl spoke wistfully, "Now, I fancy Master Willow Bark. He is so kind and sweet and noble and handsome and strong. If High Lady Alyson were ever to betray him or leave him, I would snatch him up just like that!" Serna snapped her fingers, "He's an Elf and he's just so dreamy! Why do you ask, Mistress Kana, do you know if anyone else in our group has an interest in me?"
