“I see!” replied the Dark Lord with a snarl as he pointed an accusing finger at Alyson, “Return to Fair Weather, find your allies and inform them of my command. I will suffer neither them nor you nor your creations to rampage through Fair Weather destroying half the city to right a wrong just as you did in the Forest of Glimmers.”
"The Forest of Glimmers? I suppose, you didn't have anything to do with putting Gonathradi there, would you?" inquired the elementalist. "As for the destruction, you're right, it wasn't necessary on that level. Besides, do you really think that my friends and I are going start randomly blowing things up in a neutral trade city?"
Pointing to the city off in the distance, Venger added, “And I will not suffer your presence here any longer. Now go and trouble me no more! This is your final warning!”
"Fine!" Alyson snarled back at him, crackling with the remaining energy of the thunder god, Thor, "I'll tell them but don't expect them to LISTEN!"
After Alyson stormed back to the city and once she was well out of earshot, a singed Shadow Demon spun himself back into existence at his master's side.
"Shadow Demon, take the Orcs and move them two miles to the south of the city near the Rook's Canyon," The Dark Lord continued to stare at the retreating form of the Elementalist, "Once they leave the city and the surrounding area, Alyson and her allies will no doubt turn towards Yarfell to see about their friends there, we shall ambush them before they reach the Black Hills, finish them and claim their weapons."
"As you wish, Highness," Shadow Demon bowed to the Dark Lord, "But there is one thing that I would like, my lord, if you don't mind. Before you finish the Elementalist can you please make her suffer horribly before she dies?"
Venger said nothing as he gave his Servant a nasty look to signify that he was not in a mood to answer any questions from anyone.
Shadow Demon just sulked away and disappeared into the shadow of a nearby tree.
"Soon, Elementalist, very soon there shall be a reckoning between us," snarled the Dark Lord.
