Petunia left the room and returned with a mannequin in the figure of a man donned in a shirt of heavy chain mail armor. Wheeling the test dummy before the Wolfen, the manicurist smiled, “Here we go! Are you ready to give your new weapons a test, Lady Kana?”
Kana checked to see if her nails were dry before standing and walking over to the manniquin.
Serna looked on eagerly to see whether or not the improvements to the Wolfen’s new weapons would actually work.
Kana took one look at Serna before turning to the dummy. "Here we go," she said. Then took a swipe at the armor on the chest.
The Wolfen not only sliced through the armor as though it was not there but also left deep claw marks in the chest of the mannequin itself. Had it been a human being instead of a mannequin she struck, Kana would have separated her victim from his rib-cage and a few major organs.
"WWWWOOOOOWWWWW!" gasped Serna in complete wide-eyed disbelief at what her friend had just done.
Kana looked at her claws then back at the mannequin in awe and excitement. She then turned to Serna with a small wicked grin.
Petunia smiled with a devilish grin, "How does it feel, Lady Kana, to be the most dangerous Wolfen this side of the Lycansmarch?"
"These are wonderful!" Kana wispered in barely contained excitement. She then turned to Petunia as a thought went through her head. "Am I still able to use a regular bow without destroying it? Does my intention need to be there for them to work, or will I need to be extra careful with them? I don't really understand magik, so I don't know what to expect."
