The Swordsman had finished his conversation with The Lady Knight and was just about to head down the stairs when he turned and discovered a rather irate looking Elementalist addressing him.
"We have a PROBLEM! Actually, two PROBLEMS, Lord Irzen," She stated bluntly.
"ALYSON!" cried the Swordsman in both surprise and relief, "It's good to see you too! So what's wrong? Why did you and Willow Bark take a jump out of your window together? And where is the Ranger exactly anyway?"
"Ah, hell, that wasn't Willow that jumped out of the window, it was a doppleganger. Willow has been kidnapped," Alyson paused only to chug down a glass of wine she snatched on her way through the inn, "Two, Venger demands that we vacate the city. He thinks we're going to wreck havoc here like we did in the Forest of Glimmers."
"Venger may be right," confessed the Swordsman, "We may have to wreak unholy hell here just to find Willow and Neven if someone has gone to the trouble of employing a Doppleganger to stand-in for one of our friends. But at the moment, the Dark Lord is the least of our problems."
High Lord Irzen stared at The Elementalist intently and grabbed her shoulders, "Alyson, I need you to answer this question and do so honestly because everything we do from this point onward depends upon your response. Does the Doppleganger know that you know that he is NOT the real Willow Bark?"
