"Ack!" Alyson was lurched into the sewers abruptly, "don't underestimate a werewolf, sir dwarf, While though savage, there's always a smart one in the pack. Those are the ones you should worry about, sewers or no sewers."
"You're probably right," admitted the Dwarf as he reached behind his back and pulled forth his axe from its sheath, "But I have a little equalizer with me that can crack any Werewolf's skull, just in case."
Alyson propped herself against the foul smelling walls of the sewer tunnel, breathing heavily, "Alyson is my name."
"Funny," harumped the Dwarf, "I had you pegged as a Gertrude or an Ethel or a Myrtle. Alyson is too pretty a name for one as homely as you. My name is Myron, Myron Iron Forge, Adventurer by trade and Traveller by will."
Moving away from the grate and deeper into the sewers, the Dwarf asked, "Well, Alyson, where shall we go from here. If you are right, sooner or later, they're going to come after us down here. Granted, they won't be able to sniff us out because of the stench, but they can see better in the dark than us--well, at least you anyway!"
"So, do you have any friends in town?" Myron continued his inquiry, "Anyone or anyplace that you know where we can hold up until this whole mess blows over?"
