Irzen watched the whole scene and turned to Tommy, "What is it with him and women? Alyson is in love with him, War Scribe lusts after him, Serna fawns over him and now Seriah is counseling him. Willow's a common Wood Elf. He's a dime-a-dozen Ranger. Hell, he doesn't even have a Weapon of Power? How in The Realm does he get all of the babes and I can barely hold onto Diana?"
The elementalist gave the swordsman a smile, "There's more than meets the eye. Seriah always had keener sense of where people hailed from than I."
The Gamer chuckled. “Well there's your answer, Sterling. Get rid of Evenflow. Forget about being a nobleman, forget about being a captain; just be an ordinary Drow Swordsman, and Diana will throw herself into your arms!” He shrugged. “Or maybe relationships are more complicated than that. I will say this, though: I most roleplaying games that have such a thing, Chick Magnet is considered a disadvantage.”
The assassin politely steered the elf off to one side leaving Alyson, Irzen, and Tommy together.
"Anyway," Tommy began again, "I think I've come up with a sufficiently inescapable prison for our merciless Mercys. With all of your help," he nodded to indicate Alyson, Irzen, Heidi, Kana and Serna, "I can banish them to what the Binders refer to as the Far Realm. It's a non-place that's essentially outside of Reality, from which even gods cannot recover them. Does everyone find that suitable?"
"Works for me!" chimed in The Swordsman, "Just so long as we never, EVER, see their ugly faces again."
"You know where I stand on the matter," added Sor'n with a nod, "Exile is too good for them. But I will stand with my love on this matter."
Alyson said nothing. She was tired of handing out judgement and death at the moment. What she did and how she did it to Sally Mercy may have been extreme but necessary at the time. Finally she spoke, "Where they go," pointing to the remaining Mercys, "is up to you guys."
”Fine, fine.” Tommy shrugged again. “We just need for Kana to get back, and assuming it fits with her desires, we'll get this little show on the road.”

Seriah explained, "Seriously, ranger, you must give my former student space. Lots of space." She looked directly at Willow studying him for a moment and gave him his space a few feet away. "Do not be offended by her actions. I'm sure you've come close to having dark days at some point in your long life. Tell me, why is an elf of high status this far away from his homeland?"
Seriah was an excellent judge when it came to figuring out where someone hailed from. What type of clothing and embroidery was put into tailoring such fine outfits.
"I shall do as you request, Seriah," Willow Bark turned to face The Assassin, "And as Alyson has demanded. I shall give her space--and plenty of it. I cannot lie about my feelings, I AM offended by her actions but I realize that she is NOT herself and so I have forgiven her in my heart. And I have had more than my fair share of dark days in my past, but I have never, EVER, taken them out on anyone who did nothing to earn my wrath."
The Ranger drew closer to The Assassin whispering in The Elvish tongue, "I must compliment you, Seriah, you are very perceptive. Considering your occupation, I can understand why, but I will answer your question if you choose to answer one of mine. Deal?"
Willow Bark continued in Elvish with a sad smile, "I am far from my homeland and my people because I wanted to make my own way in The Realm. I wanted to discover who I was and who I could be absent my family's pushing me into a political marriage to shore up their alliance with another Elvish noble house. I chose to be a Ranger, I chose Storm Haven as my station and I chose to lead my life in this way because I wanted to discover myself both as a Wood Elf and as a person."
"Arranged marriages. Bah! Sometimes necessary but mostly due to egos and alliances between families. Consider yourself fortunate, my friend, that you're not a part of a harem. Where there are many wives or husbands to please the rulers of the desert kingdoms." The assassin pointed out the obvious.
Turning in the direction of The Elementalist, Willow Bark added, "But that all changed the day she entered my forest. In my heart, I loved her from the very first moment I saw her and from every moment thereafter--including this one. But if I must bury my heart until the woman I loves returns to claim it again, so be it."
The exotic woman knew true love. For she too had experienced herself in the days of her youth. Her expression saddened slightly as a long lost memory of her beloved flickered back to her. "you are right to be OFFENDED ranger. My mistake. Alyson speaks her mind when angered and she uses the policy of truth, bluntly."
Returning his attention to Seriah, The Ranger asked in his native tongue, "Now you must answer a question of mine: Are you from Alyson's birthworld, Earth, or are you from The Realm of Dungeons and Dragons? And how did you cross the barrier between those worlds appearing as an old woman on one while appearing as a young woman on the other?"
"I am from the Realm of Dungeon's and Dragons. I hail from the desert kingdoms. Long ago after my beloved was taken from me by another woman. A rival who had bewitched and seduced him. She turned him against me, telling lies, that only a tiefling does best." Pausing only to accurately flick darts into a nearby tree, "Those of my order are granted unusual long life after doing a initiate's quest to join. As for your question, as long as I remain here, I will stay young but on Alyson's world where magic has diminished greatly and people do not believe in it, TIME catches up with you rather fast."

"Well, now that this truly touching Hallmark moment is over," War Scribe sauntered up to Kana and Serna wrapping an arm around both of their shoulders, "Are we ready to go, ladies, or do we have other business here to attend to?"
"I'm ready to go," Kana answered her.
"Me too!" Serna took Kana's hand into her own, "You know, Mistress Kana, you have nothing to worry about. Baroness Meleranti is going to take good care of them. And I promise you that when she gets through teaching them, you'll probably barely recognize them for they will be so different and better for having known the Baroness. You'll see."
With that said, War Scribe teleported Kana and Serna back to the others.

”And there she is,” Tommy observed when the trio appeared. “Well, they, to be precise.” He waved his hand to get Kana's attention. “Kana, I believe I've come up with an acceptable solution to making the Realm a more Mercy-less place. With everyone's help, I can work a Banishing that will send them beyond the limits of reality. They'll still exist – as far as such a term has meaning – but will be unable to interact with anyone in this Realm or any other, and even the gods would find returning them a difficult task. It's a bit more final even than killing them, but if you're okay with that, I can get started right now.”
