**GGGRROOWWWLLLL!!!!** The deep gutteral sound emminating from Mermidon was enough the make their hair stand on end.
The two zealots bravely though a bit foolishly stood their ground against Mermidon and held up their weapons as though to ward off any attack by Alyson's creation.
Mermidon seized the swords of both zealots, his grasp caused the blades to melt and wield together, leaving the two stuck together before he sent them flying into their companions flanking the ranger and the swordsman.
"Ahhh!!!" cried the Zealots as they were flung headlong into their compatriots.
Having literally disarmed three of his opponents, Irzen cried out, "Mermidon! Quake! How about a little help here?!"
Suddenly the Zealots slammed into their friends who were flanking both Irzen and Willow. Noticing the sudden change of fortune in their battle, the Swordsman turned to Mermidon, "Oh! Nice work! Thanks!"
"Hmph!" Gruffed the draconian.
As the group of Zealots tried to rise to their feet, Willow Bark joined Irzen and motioned for Seriah to join them as well, "Irzen, are you hurt?"
"I'm good!" snapped the Swordsman keeping his eye on the Zealots and not letting his guard drop for a minute, "Serna! Neven! How are you guys doing?"
Seriah got up, brushing the excess dirt off, "I'm fine."
"I'm doing well, High Lord Irzen," chirped Serna somewhat relieved the battle could be over soon.
"I think Serna broke my nose," moaned Neven disappointingly.
"You'll live!" snapped The Dark Elf.
"Seriah, are you wounded?" inquired the Ranger without turning to acknowledge the Assassin.
"Okay, guys, we tried it the hard way and you lost!" declared the Drow to the defeated Zealots, "Now let's try it the easy way so you can go home and live. Lay down your weapons! Put your hands on your heads! Lock your fingers together! March single file back from whence you came! And don't come back! You may have us outmanned but we've got you outgunned. Go home and live or fight us and die. Your choice!"
The Swordsman cast a quick glance to The Assassin, "Seriah, you've dealt with Zealots probably more often than any of us. What do you think their next move is going to be?"
"You're asking me their next move?" The assassin blinked, "Zealots are Zealots, they will fight to the death for their beliefs, and hold grudges against those who stand in their way either to let them live or see them driving before them like animals. They will never," pointing her scimitar at the throat of one, "stop coming, unless their master says otherwise. They're right and we're wrong, end of story."
