The elementalist went rigid. Saying something against her nature was going to be very....very hard. Still, she inadvertently changed the last plan of Irzen's and hoped this plan will succeed. Gritting her teeth, Alyson dropped to her knees but couldn't bring herself to call him master but she said it anyway, "master."
The Dark Lord grinned in pure contentment before he cast his gaze upon Quake.
A dark cloud began to form above the Topaz Mountains as though a small volcano was emitting some light ash into the air. The Orcs took note of the forming cloud but thought little of it.
Pointing to the rest of The Adventurers, Venger ordered, "Elemental, slaughter my enemies and bring me their weapons!"
Tommy took a step forward to gain Venger's attention. "I ask you once," he said in a calm, controlled tone, "to not do this. The Talisman should not be used in this way. The consequences will…not be to your satisfaction."
In Alyson's head, Kana whispered, 'Be still, my friend. Help is on the way. Encase our friends in a protective bubble, if you can. Bring them and yourself to me if possible. I will give you the power you need.'
The dark cloud began to take on a more defined shape as the billowing smoke seemed to take on the form of wings and claws and a large sinewy body. Some of the Orcs pointed towards the cloud while others began to take a step back.
"You dare to lecture me on using this Talisman, Gamer?" huffed the Dark Lord, "Even when you know that it has no power within it."
Venger snatched the Eleventh Talisman from around his neck and threw it at the ground, "A clever ruse, Gamer, a very clever ruse, indeed, but not clever enough. I knew the Elementalist was not under my control. Just as I knew you transferred the power of the Talisman from this object into another vessel. For such a feat of magic, you should be commended."
Tommy shrugged. "I dare a lot of things." He didn't bother pointing out that he hadn't really expected it to actually trick Venger. It would have been nice, but it wasn't the point."
"That went well," Alyson smirked briefly staring at the ground preparing some sort of shield spell Kana suggested.
The Dark Lord snarled with a sinister grin, "However, in your haste, you failed to disguise the power of the Talisman which even now calls to me from within that mountain--"
"Oh, trust me," the Gamer replied calmly, "there are few things that irritate me more than doing a shoddy job because I'm rushed."
Venger promptly urged his Nightmare skyward as he raised his hand and fired off an energy blast that not only slammed but also drilled a hole into the mountainside, "--and that shall be your undoing. If I cannot claim the power of the Talisman, I shall claim its Bearer instead!"
Tommy nodded inwardly. This was about what he'd expected. Oh, not the making his own entrance part…though upon reflection it did fit with Venger's personality. Still… "I don't think we're going to let that happen." He turned immediately and began running for the cave entrance, singly softly under his voice as he ran. "Into the cave, it's time to go, I hate to leave, I have to, though. Into the cave, it's time, and so I must begin my journey."
"Orcs attack!" cried Shadow Demon who looked up and saw the real moment's danger before he twisted himself out of existence.
Aurilaz had finally completed her transformation into her all-too real yet deadly self and just as she did with the Human village before, the ancient Black Dragon unleashed the full fury of her breath weapon pouring a hellishly unending torrent of black acid that washed over, around and through the ranks of Venger's army dissolving all within its path.
Alyson didn't move as the line of deadly acid plowed its way towards the group, "I hope Kana can handle Venger in the state she's in." She brought the staff of elements down hard and fast into the ground. A wall of stone and earth erected as the wave of acid hit but she redirected it away from the group and the entrance of the mountain. "Quake a LITTLE HELP HERE!!"
"Ok, LADY!" The fire-stone dragon slammed her tail along the ground creating a trench for the acid to follow.

"Back to the mountain!" cried Irzen without a moment's hesitation, "Retreat!"
Unfortunately ten Orcs were smart enough to get the same idea and gave quick pursuit to the Adventurers.
Out of nowhere, a pair of circular blades bounced off each side of the mountain entrance and took out the foremost of Venger's orcs trailing behind the group before returning to the hands of the assassin within the shadowy entrance.
"He's going after Kana!" yelled Willow attempting to cry over the roar of Aurilaz's attack, "We have to do something!" The Ranger fired off an energy arrow yet the Dark Lord swatted it away and returned the attack with a blindingly white blast of magical energy that was headed right for the Adventurers.
"Less stupid, more running," the Gamer called behind him as he ran by."
"You know, we could use a certain Shield Maiden right about now!" groaned Irzen to no one in particular, "Everyone, look out!"
The elementalist then turned around casting, "Reflector, Deflector, Return to SENDER!!"
A mirror shield form around the party, it absorbed the blast and channeled right back at Venger.
***SHHOOOMMM!!**
Tommy continued to sing as he passed into the cave entrance, his voice echoing slightly in the enclosed space. "The way is just dark, the light is no good. I fear I may have to say something rude." He stumbled slightly as Venger continued to shake the mountain with his blasts. "The roof is just fall-ing onto my hood. I sort of hate to ask it, but will you shield me Basket?" Without pausing, the Gamer swung the Basket over his head, blocking some falling stones. He chuckled as it snapped its lid at him in irritation.
+++++
Hearing the muffled sounds of battle from outside the mountain, Serna rose to her feet with her shield at the ready, "What was that, Mistress--?"
The Shield Maiden never got a chance to finish her statement for no sooner had she spoken a side of the cavern wall blew itself inward atop the Wolfen and her charges. Serna activated her shield successfully protecting not only herself and Kana but also Neven beneath a small magical dome as they were buried under a ton of rock and debris.
Mermidon appeared from within the debris with Kana, Serna, and Neven, "*Malsvar* comes for *wux* he knows the now.
