"We have bigger concerns than THAT DRAGON!" snapped Irzen without hesitation before he added, "Fine, if you and Seriah want to play nice with the Orcs, be my guest. I'm going to help Kana with the REAL threat she faces."
Seriah launched both chrakrams again into the fray of on coming orcs tripping them up in a domino affect.
As if to emphasize his point, the Ranger drew back on the Energy Bow and released a Lightning Arrow that blew a hole in the chest of the Orc that was giving chase to him.
With that said, Irzen charged headlong into the mountain screaming his battle cry, "Evenflow! Evenflow!"
Unfortunately, the Drow's conversation with Alyson and Seriah distracted the pair long enough for two Orcs to charge at them and grab them. The Orc that seized the Elementalist wrapped his arms around Alyson's waist and pinned her arms to her side. Lifting the Elementalist off the ground, the Orc shook her from side to side as though she were a ragdoll to completely disorient her, "You a prisoner of Venger now, Human, SURRENDER!"
"Huh?" Grabbed suddenly, the elementalist's weapon of power was knocked from her hand.
The Orc that grabbed Seriah failed to pin the Assasin's arms but secured his arms around her waist, locked her inside of a reverse bearhug and did his best to squeeze the breath out of the Assasin and break a rib or two, "I have you now, woman, submit!"
"You'd like to think so, orc!" The assassin's chrakrams came humming back to their owner, slicing off the arms that were squeezing her, **HUUUMMMM!!**
Now free of her captor, Seriah turned towards Alyson. A chrakram in each hand, she brought the two blades together as though she were sharpening them. The sound was unique as it traveled through the valley. Once, twice, thrice before bringing them above her head, and a second pair of arms came out on either side of Seriah's torso. She had invoked the power of her goddess, Kali, Black Mother Earth. Once per day she could use this ability but only certain circumstances like this one. The second pair of arms drew the scimitars. She followed up with a blade barrier around her too. Getting close to Alyson was going to be tricky but at least no orc would be foolish enough now.
Ever the opportunist, Shadow Demon spun himself back into existence near the two struggling women and cheered, "That's it! Capture them for our Master! Lord Venger will reward you both handsomely for this pair. Elementalist, Assassin, you are now the property of Venger!"
Unfortunately, Willow Bark's concentration was focused upon snapshotting lightning arrows as he decapitated three Orcs charging towards him. The Ranger simply did not see the bold attacks made upon Alyson and Seriah by their enemies.
An ominous shadow of an elemental dragon loomed over Shadow Demon while he was distracted, "HEY DEAD HEAD?! WHAT DO YOU YOU'RE DOING WITH THE LADY?!" Quake discharged a stream of molten lava directly at him and any orcs were roasted alive in the process. Her massive tail knocked any orcs well clear of her all the way to the ranger, "Willow! Over here, the Lady needs help!"

Kana looked at Serna, placing her hand on her cheek, while she answering Mermidon, "She's right. We need to stand and fight, and with all of you by my side, I can be in control of this Power."
"Keep Venger from me," the Wolfen said as she looked at Mermidon. "I will be calling for some back up and will be a bit distracted."
"…and who can tell what's waiting on the journey?" Tommy sang as he skipped into the chamber, Basket swinging from one arm. "Hello, little girl…Hmm. It seems the roles are slightly reversed. Did somebody ask for a distraction? No, wait, that's wrong. V's coming, you're…" he paused, a look of concentration on his face, "summoning more Dragons. Should be quite a show." The Gamer looked up at Mermidon. "Time to draw some aggro, neh?"
Instinctively, Mermidon brought up his wings to shield the humans, and wolfen.
As if on cue, a subsequent explosion went off but this time it only showered the Adventurers with small bits and chunks of rocks. Venger burst through the hole he made and wasted no time in attacking his enemies.
"Away from me, monster!" snarled the Dark Lord as he raised his arm and fired off a blindingly white blast of magical energy that slammed into the chest of Mermidon so hard and so fast it literally sent the Draconic elemental sailing off of the ledge and down into Aurilaz's treasure trove.
***RROOOOOOAARRR!!*** He recovered just before he hit the bottom, treasury or no, it was would still be painful. Wings outstretched, he made for the upper tier.
Without hesistation, Serna with her shield at the ready charged forward deliberately placing herself between Kana and Venger, "Get behind me, Mistress Kana, I'll save you!"
"Unlikely!" The Dark Lord smiled as he fired off another powerful yet sustained energy blast that slammed squarely into Serna's shield. The Shield Maiden did her best to stand her ground against the Dark Lord but the sheer force of Venger's attack began to slowly but surely push Serna back towards the edge of the ledge and away from her charge.
Serna screamed, "Help me!"
Neven ran over to help Serna by getting behind the young girl, grabbing her back and pushing against her.
"What are you doing?!" cried the Shield Maiden as she was being sorely tested from the front and from the rear.
"Helping!" snapped Neven without hesitation, "Now push back before he pushes us both off this ledge!"
Serna did her best as she redoubled both her effort and her will into keeping her shield up, but it was little use as her feet carved desperate grooves in the lichen softened rocks. Each second brought the young pair closer and closer to a long fall with a hard stop.
"Master Tommy!" cried Neven desperately, "DO SOMETHING!"
Tommy shook his head in disgust. Tactically sound, but morally despicable, which was Venger all over. Still, the middle of a battle was not the best place for armchair analysis, which was why he was already in motion. A manic grin spread across his face as he decided on a course of action. Swinging the Basket into both hands as he ran to interpose himself between Venger and the children, the Gamer popped the lid open. Sliding smoothly into place before Serna, he angled the Basket so that Venger's blast surged into its mouth...and vanished. The Basket swallowed Venger's beam of magic like the night sky swallows a beam of light. Tommy looked down at the Basket, then up at Venger. He asked derisively, "Is that the best you can do? No wonder you only have one horn."
Mermidon circled around coming up from behind Venger who was enjoying pushing two kids towards their demise. Instead of attacking Venger directly, he went after the nightmare. The same way Madeous Khyng would have done in his day. He grabbed both hind legs, and with a powerful swing sent both rider and horse slamming into the cavern wall. Unorthodox but effective.
