There is a Sympora that is all black and has a filter that I have smoked. Some say it smells better than a cigarette. It irritates some. One lady even said it reminded her of her younger and party days. The most common Clove I've seen is a cork filter with white paper.
Thadeaus, who created this board, says there is a clove without a filter that is the best. I've never seen one though.
Come to think of it, this is the season for clove favoring.
