Hi, my name is Stephen Biggs. I am doing some research before I write a screenplay that I plan to make into a small Amateur/Independent film. Right now, I'm searching for a plot. I do have an idea for a plot, but would like to ask the deaf community what they think.
The film is a silent feature about communication. The film would center around a deaf woman who is trying to show an unaware non-hearing impaired gentleman what it's like to be deaf and how to communicate. Later, the gentleman will end up becoming deaf by the end. I'm not set on this plot, but I do like it.
Before I begin to use this as my plot, I would like to see what others think. Anything that's constructive would be appreciated. Also, if you have any ideas to address to my idea or even one of your own, I would like to hear it. I will credit any collaboration with the screenplay or with the plot.
