Something that actually sawed me off about the X-Men is how they were written to respond to Cable creating his own utopia. Namely, of all things which I find out of character for them is that they rallied against him instead of FOR him. Think about it: A group of persecuted mutants who've been fighting since the 60's to create a world where humans and mutants can live harmoniously decides to attack the one guy who ACTUALLY creates such a world. To me, it's almost as if Cyclops and crew are attacking Nate because he accomplishes in one year what they've been trying to do in 20.
Other then selling a lot of issues, I don't think the X-Men (true to character) would have sided with SHIELD. The Avengers, FF, or even Desert Sword....NOW that I could've seen.
: Wow, so Cable and Apocalypse are REALLY
: connected together. I like the way Cable is
: using Apocalypse to unit mutants together
: against a common foe, but he must really
: have (as he said in the comic) alot on his
: conscious (all the deaths it has and
: probably will cause).
: I wonder what would happen if the X-Men
: found out that Cable helps there (and his)
: greatest foe...
