Unfortunately Cable sucks in the PSP version. his only decent ability is his twin pistol attack (like Bishops), but the lack of any boost for this ability or a special weapon makes it ordinary at best.
He does look pretty cool though.
Likewise Cannonball, Xavier and X-Man are fairly standard characters.
