Praise and a problem...

First of all, I would like to state that I have bought every issue of the series, and will continue to do so. I've enjoyed the stories so far, even the House of M tie-ins, and the current Civil War storyline looks to be one of the best yet.
Though I do have one small problem with the way Deadpool is being handled. While I don't mind the buffoonery - a major aprt of the character is his sense of humor - I feel like it's being taken to ridiculous heights, even for Deadpool. I mean, he's getting his butt handed to him in every fight - he lost to the GLA (X? C?), for Chrissakes. He's supposed to be one of the world's premiere mercenaries, but we're not seeing anything in the series that would support that theory. Can we please see Deadpool being a badass again? Even for a little while? Pretty please?
