Posted by Nyssie SYNOPSIS: MY THOUGHTS: Now, everyone knows what a big Anaconda fan I am. Probably the biggest (or, more aptly put, "only") fan. I bought C&D #7 simply for her, and I've been a loyal fan ever since. So, it's nice to see the reason I started reading it pop back up again. I absolutely loved her in 33, despite her small role (which I accept. I mean, it's not "Cable, Deadpool, & Anaconda" now is it?), and adding the little nuggets of comedy in, like her listening to Thoroughly Modern Millie music on her ipod, really made my Anaconda year. A character like her only pops up like once every few years, so I really love how Fabey isn't afraid to give some of the comedic moments to minor characters. I'm not surprised Constrictor is off the Six Pack, out of all of them, he seemed the least likely. I mean, Anaconda's no angel, but she's all about the money, for sure. I still don't like Irene Merryweather, but I don't know if I ever will. Prester John kinda annoys me, too, but Black Box is hawt. Only one complaint: NO WEASEL! :O Oh, well. Can't wait for next month! :D

Normally, I don't make threads for new C&D issues, I just post in them and give my random comments. But, here it goes!
Basically, an explosion in Providence nearly kills Irene, John, and the others, but they're saved by Cable's forcefield/mindbubble/whatever. So, while Black Box tries to decipher who the terrorist is, the Six Pack are back and functioning, placing bombs all around the sewers of Rumekistan. However, Constrictor is gone, and just as Cable and Deadpool catch up to the Five Pack, the sixth member is revealed: Deadpool.
Okay, I must say... I love Domino x Cable moments. I didn't really read much X-Force back in the day, but the relationship they have is so different. It's great, and I love how Domino is always so torn over helping or hurting Cable. While we're on the subject of Dom, the artist did a GREAT job for the most part, but I didn't really care for his depiction of Domino. The up-close shots of her face just seemed awkward to me. The Deadpool x Cable conflict is great, too, and it's just so homoerotic that I feel a twitch. It's hot.
