CIVIL WAR SPOILERS

Wasn't Cable one of the ones that walked out on Captain America and defected to the other side?
I thought that was the stupidest thing. CABLE would just throw up his hands after Goliath was killed?! After all the wars he's fought and all the death he's seen?! Not that seeing people get killed would ever make it easier, but he has certainly showed that he's willing to lose people to accomplish what he believes to be the greater good.
Sorry if this has already been discussed, but I just didn't buy it and I had to vent.
