Posted by James Hunter on 5/9/2007, 6:42 pm, in reply to "cable and deadpool 39 " It's kind of ironic really, but each and every month, I put this title about half-way down my reading pile (I start with the ones I'm most looking forward to and work down) and, each and every month, I feel that I've under-rated this title when I get around to reading it! I suppose I should know better, given that Fabian Nicieza has never yet let me down, but there you go... To focus specifically on the issue, I really enjoyed the recap page this month. Sure, it may have confused (by attempting to un-confuse, ironically!) the T-Ray origin even more but I just love seeing Wade and T-Ray at each others throats again. In short, it was pure fun! Another little touch I've liked, about this arc, is the idea of the bar which all the super villains frequent and the idea that Wade is the scourge of the joint. It was just something which tickled me. this is the sort of touch which has caused me to get so much enjoyment from this series right from the very first day! Agent X and Bob, Agent of Hydra are also fun, they just add a special touch, all their own to this title, particularly Bob! I'm glad to hear that he will be sticking around for the forseeable future, he has the potential to become every bit as, if not even more interesting then Blind Al and Weasel (two superb characters in their own right). His interaction with Wade is great fun, IMHO. As you can probably tell my thoughts are a little dis-jointed (suitable for a title starring Wade really! :-P ) but that's because it's so hard to nail down (at least with this month's issue) what I love so much about this title, it's good (as the whole series has been to date) in a general sense rather than any specific sense. Whatever it is that Fabian brings to this title, it's really worked once again this issue (as I am starting to expect!) Cheers. James. --Previous Message--

I didn't catch an explanation for that (I'm afraid) but I'm going to hi-jack your thread, if I may, just to post my (somewhat dis-jointed) thoughts about this excellent issue:
: just got it, and it had some of the best
: artwork and action the book has had in a
: while...deadpool is such a bad ass.
