Yes he did. The gist of it was "If you thought the battles your having now are bad, it will get only worse with the end being you watching your successor six times removed signing the terms of surrenders to the winners."

Well he is a time travller, so I think he knows about the skrulls taking advantage of the insanity, but I'm thinking that there are other players and powers in the mix.
