Many, many people agree with you.
You should have seen the thread list at Deadpool Bugle when details of the movie's plot first came out. It was long and it was UGLY!
Fortunately, Ryan Reynolds has sworn to stay true to the source material if the solo movie comes out.(and they just announced that it WOULD)
But how much control will he have? We shall see.
