First of all, this issue was EXCELLENT. Wade garners genuine sympathy for this traumatic event in his life. Poor Deadpool! All the dialogue was wonderful -- except the odd suggestion by Cap for everyone to exodus all the way cross continent to Thailand. Logan and Steve were also written spot on during this tragic battle in North Korea. The anticipation of what's going to happen is exciting. Butler better say his prayers.
The ONLY thing that ruined this issue was a 2nd silly shield showing in as many weeks. There was seemingly one flamethrower (more off panel would change the dynamics more). Cap was standing between a wide mass of prisoners and a wide mass of armed soldiers with orders to kill. The fire was shot first and Captain reciprocates-killing-in-kind-cuz-its-war America manages to reflect/deflect all the fire back onto all the soldiers. They're probably better off dead than burned unconscious which means Cap's kill count just went up by at least a dozen with this intended as "kewl" showing that comes across more as a sad showing -- literally&figuratively.
I miss Dad and Dan.
