Please everyone go and rent or purchase Utena on VHS/DVD! It is a short (compared to sm) anime (basic), but it is so cool! I am a huge sm fan, but the series is just too repetitive. The girls just happen to end up in the potential place of the enemy almost every day of their lives (that we see in the series), they find the monster, struggle a little, tuxedo mask comes, moon blasts the monster with a wand. !!! PLEASE take a look at Utena. It has very few repetitive scenes like transformaitons, no real transforming here. The characters personalitites are sooo widespread and the emotion is sooo much more that an average episode of sailor moon! Sometimes Utena even looses! And no, its not a story about Utena herself and another girl (which you may have seen) in love. Shes actually not like that (i think!), but it plays out that way. PLEASE, PLEASE, check it out!!! You may also like Corrector Yui, and Chobits (chobits is funny and the end is very emotional, but i didnt ball out crying like when Usagi met up w/Darien in episode 200).
