Posted by Cindy Shrout Just a bit of information....as long as the sire was bloodtyped ALL purebred horses CAN be registered as purebreds. It it just a matter of them first being bloodtyped THEN being DNA typed. You'll just have to pay for it twice. The only way they could not be registered purebred was if the sire was never registered therein never bloodtyped as stallions have ALWAYS had to be. ALSO of note.....if the Registry nows that the sire is a purebred arabian and that you want to register them as half-arab, the Registry will refuse to register them as half-arabian.
