For all of you potentially looking to buying the unit please read the responses from customer services and be warned !!!!!

Not only have I therefore wasted about £45 on pads and postage because your computer didn't recognise them to be pads when it processed the return code, I also got charged £45 in custom fees when I received the goods which meant I have paid more in custom fees and pads than I did for the machine, and made a total of about £90 loss investing in something that I thought was guaranteed to work. I might just as well thrown the money down the drain. I have since read other customers who have had similiar problems as mine and think that your website is misleading, and I don't see why unused pads can't be returned as they will only get resold, and as I said earlier what use are they without the machine.

Neither does our competition of laser or electrolysis provide such a guarantee. All these technologies interface with the human body differently and as such provide different results. This is why we provide a 100% money back guarantee on the F-140 unit. Please refer to our web site. Our guarantee is on our F-140 unit which you can return for any reason withing the first 30 days. I do not believe that our competition offers such a guarantee. I am sorry that you were surprised to pay V.A.T. on a purchase in your country or customer duties and charges for an imported product. Most of our International customers are not surprised by these costs which they are well aware of prior to their purchase. It is my understanding even though I am not British that V.A.T. is a normal every day charge on items. Why would you expect our product to be different. As is listed on our web site and in the R.A. confirmation E-mail, the replacement patch kits are supplied in resealable pouches so they can be reused. There is no way to tell if these kits have been opened and this is why they are discarded when returned. I am sure that you would not like to receive in your order replacement patch kits returned from another customer. I am sorry that you were generated a R.A. for just a patch order. This should not have occurred and I will get this fixed. Our policy is still our policy and replacement patch kits are not covered by our money back guarantee as listed on our web site directly below the 'Add to Cart' button which must be selected to place an order in addition to other locations on our web site. I expect that customers who do not take the time to read our web site and understand our policies prior to making their purchase will think our web site is misleading. Most customers who read our web site do not have these concerns. It is only those who do not that take this position and they are in a very small minority but anyone can write anything on the Internet. We will process your credit as per our stated policy. Thank you for your initial interest in our product and I am sorry that you were not please with our results.

MY RESPONSE
I think it is quite obvious whether patches have been used or not and what good are to me if I have returned the unit ,and how am I to know you are not going to resell them. I wished I had read the warning about your website prior to buying the unit and will be posting the whole of this e-mail to that site to warn others. I have ordered several items from America and abroad before and not once have I had to pay customs charges, and was shocked at the £45 bill but we learn by our mistakes and hopefully this warning will help fellow shoppers from your site.
