Howardīs actions at the end said it all.
He made the shush sign implying "donīt say a word to this bastard, heīll get you suspended".
Itīs incredible to think he actually reffed another Everton game after the 77 semi. A couple of years ago Johnny Giles had a right go at him, saying that Thomas always needed to be the centre of attention. Some refs just ref games for their own amusement.
