I enjoyed that article alright, but what Mr. O'Connor didn't mention was that on the eve of the Euros in 88, and just to have a pop at Charlton, the spineless git came out and said how it was a disgrace that Liam Brady wasn't in squad.
This coming from the man, who, as you say lambasted Brady (for years), and given the fact that Brady was suspended for 2 of the 3 games we played in Germany was the last straw for me. He's been on the "pay no mind list" ever since.
The man has no scruples nor integrity - just a personal agenda. Consequently his "opinion" is absolutely worthless. At this stage, anyone who can't see this and still takes this clown seriously must either
a) suffer with some sort of chronic amnesia
or
b) be so totally clueless about football that they need to rely on "expert" opinion before they "form" their own.
