I hate the complaining about fixture pile-ups and the bleating about injuries... We have highly trained highly paid atheletes who should be able to play 3 games in 6 days for fun... Playing more games you work less on the training ground, it is the best way of getting a competitive edge... not that you would tell watching us, we have been off the mark since the season started...
Dermo, in spite of the makeshift defence and use of youngsters I believe our teams have had the quality to actually win games they have been losing... but we look sometimes as if we have never seen or kicked a ball before... that's what's so frustrating... we don't look prepared, we don't look sharp, we don't look arsed as you say...
Maybe all it will take is a tackle, I hope so...
I think the crowd will play a part on Saturday.
The Goodison faithful will want a result.
Whatever is going wrong in the dressing room or on the training ground the team will have to perform in front of 35000 angry fans on Saturday...
It's going to be a battle, but we have to get somethign from this game...
And that means more than 1 point...
Panic? What panic?...
Win Europa, top half finish guaranteed... You heard it here first!...
Maybe...

: I wish Moyes had kept his trap shut about
: the three games in 6 days. (Our best side
: ever used to get the perfect excuse from
: Kendall before a ball was kicked when we
: played Luton or QPR with their plastic
: pitches, we always started those games
: beaten)
:
: The players were given their excuse before
: these 3 games started. I don't believe they
: didn't try against Bolton, from what I saw
: we should have gotten something from the
: game. But Benfica and Spurs looked like we
: weren't arsed. For once I'm not disappointed
: to be out of the League cup, we have not got
: the squad to compete on all these fronts.
:
: Just say we had gone out in the last round,
: we would have had a nice rest before the
: Villa game. Now we can have breaks between
: the next round of this competition, nor will
: we have to play a two legged semi final when
: our African players are missing.
:
: We hadn't a bad side out last night, but
: listening to the commentary on 5 Live extra,
: we were off the pace. Hopefully now the bad
: run is out of the way and a good performance
: against Villa, and with players returning
: from injury, we could be a Phil Neville type
: tackle away from re-igniting the season. It
: was around this time last season when
: Neville upended Ronaldo and we went from
: strength to strength (not before a piss poor
: performance against Wigan, which I believe
: Moyes reaction to, got us going).
:
: I don't see any advantage in sacking the
: manager, we are still bedding in new
: players, key players are returning from
: injury and will regain form in time.
:
: This is the time for sticking together and
: if we were to win the Europa League, our
: league position will unfortunately suffer,
: but wouldn't it be worth it? It would take a
: total capitulation for us to be back
: regularly in the relegation places, but we
: won't be in this position for long. TQ
: thinks we'll never win again, stop panicking
: Tom please!

: Just remembering the ghost of cup defeats
: past were you and Bazza would duke it out
: about the merits of the cups.
:
: We should be thankful for these cup games.
: The players but are clearly not arsed at the
: moment but know that a losing streak creates
: pressure and if we lose to Villa then the
: trip to West Ham becomes a six pointer.
:
: The positive, if you can call it that, is
: the wrath of the fans. We put up with a lot
: of sh1t but the sight of wnakers like Jo not
: even bothering will not be tolerated. It
: won´t be too long before garage doors get
: daubed in paint...
:
: By the way, did you ever get your paint
: brush back off Howard?
