Well the dreaded swine flu hit Blackburn, even the manager has a touch, but that didn't stop them winning a game...
I don't know if any of you heard but on Sunday the Paris SG v Marseille game was called off because the entire PSG team got quarantine for 72 hours for swine flu...
Queue riot in the centre of Marseille and the smashing up of trains back to Paris...
The French Sports Minister now wants 24 hours mandatory notice of cancellations of games...
This probably means if teams catch swine flu inside the 24 hrs notice period they will probably have to play anyway... thereby infecting entire match crowds and population centres...
Anyway we couldn't be any worse if the entire team had swine flu could we? But I do wonder if it will affect matches in the Premiership during the winter... hope not...
My brother and fellow-Evertonian says it is nothing a "few hot whiskies won't cure!"
Maybe we should start taking the hot whiskies now...
just to be sure!...
