I hate watching the Shite on the box and avoid at all costs except when we are playing them...
A couple of weeks ago I broke with tradition and settled tentatively on the couch to see Lyon play them at home...
Something told me there could be an upset, and the feeling was so strong I stayed on the couch even after Lyon went 1-0 down...
Today I'm looking curiously at the couch again. Could I? Would I?
This is a huge game and I expect the Shite to bounce back to save their CL aspirations as they have done so often in the past (think Marseille) but with French clubs excelling in CL in recent weeks Lyon may have the spirit and ambition to put paid to the Shite in front of the home fans...
And then they don't have Gerrard to rescue them...
They are not buried yet at the X-roads at midnight but maybe Lyon could hammer the mandatory stake through the heart of Rafa and Co for us all this evening...
Or is it just much too much to hope for?
A bit like impossible is nothing?
Anyway here's hoping...
