Unfortunately the Ballyoulster end of things went very quiet along with Celtic Horizons, we keep our end of the bargain with EFC and are looked after very well accordingly. I was up in Ballyoulster recently for our FAI Intermediate cup game against Lucan Utd (won 2-1 aet), sadly no signs of any links. But it's up to them to keep it alive. In my position at Broadford I need to keep that end of things at arms length.
We just took in a new crop of 5 and 6 year olds at the Academy a few weeks ago and were wondering who amongst them will be famous one day. We've seen one full international come through in Richie Sadlier and a few others broke in to the Lague of Ireland in Eamon Zayed and Glenn Fitzpatrick, our most famous export being Padraig Harrington but we can't claim much credit for his golf swing!
