Well done Pats indeed. Congrats to Bohs and goodbye to Derry City! The demise of Derry City FC is inevitable according to good sources up here. The board are a joke, they lied to UEFA they lied to the FAI and they lied to the FANS. Apparantely they gave false details about players wages etc... and false financial details. Word on the street is that they owe an absolute fortune, maybe 1,000,000 to players, staff, Dungannon, Cliftonville, the bank, the taxman and God knows who else! Its a sad case but the board are 100% to blame in my book.when the current board took over apparantely the club where in the red to the tune of 80k which is not that much really. They made 350k selling Mccourt,Maginn and Sammon to SPL and had a couple of good European campaigns, so where did all the money go? I think at 2.30pm today the final nail in the Derry City coffin will be hammered in by the FAI when the hold a press conference. I hope by some miracle that something can be done but it seems unlikely at this stage as the board has Fcuked up big time!! The League of Ireland will miss Derry City BIG TIME but rules are rules!!
