It is a waste processing area, which means mounds of unsightly waste are permanently there creating dust which affects the breathing of the people living adjacent. These people have been treated with open contempt by the city and the contractor. The residents are objecting, and I hope everyone reading this does - see the Canal Link page. The city should get on with the job of excavating Trafalgar Dock to deep water again to accommodate the historic ships and developing the Central Docks area, not using it as a temporary waste dump. It is embarrassing that the city can't find deep water berths for these ships because they have foolishly allowed docks near the centre, Princes, Princes Half-Tide and West Waterloo Docks to be used as waste dumps reducing the depth to one to two metres. Glorified canal boat ways. HMS Plymouth looks like its is going to Plymouth and a German businessman is looking into buying the U-Boat and taking it back to Germany. Yes, in the city that controlled the U-Boat battle, the Battle of the Atlantic. Shameful!! And that is not misinformation.
: it is not a waste dump, it is a facility for
: recycling rubble.
: none of the waste is to be left in or on the
: docks if it has not been screened.
: misinformation
