I got this site from Toffeeweb, a Everton FC site. Everton nearly built a big stadium on Kings Dock a few years back. Reading this site I am glad they never. I was all for it at the time. Some things are more valuable than football and thanks to this site to make me realise that. I would like Everton to build a stadium near the docks not on them, maybe on the city side on the Dock Road, that would be great for the docks and the club and city as well. Then we will all benfit. Why are Everton going to Kirkby when all that land near the docks is there? Is the club and city mad? The same for Liverpool FC as well. Building a stadium on a listed park when the dockland beckon? The city needs organisation and cooperation with the sporting concerns. It needs a big plan for the docks and immediate land with Liverpool and Everton in this plan. I am afraid Liverpool FC is out of it now, always hope for Everton, the People's club of Liverpool.
