Sitting at the long table are the six Iffy Fighters, and head trainer Salli Richardson. The press fills they small room all the women look like they've come straight from the gym wearing oversized hoodies and sweats. Salli gets things started, "First off many of you already know Allison Scagliotti will be fighting Ashley Tisdale at the next FCBA pay-per-view." Allison stands taking a arm waving bow, getting a chuckles from many in the crowd. Salli continues, "In addition to that we have Heather Hemmens and Sara Jean Underwood signed to fight at the next Ayslum. We thank Avril Lavigne in working out the contracts there."
Salli stops to get a drink of water, the trainer looks like she could step in a ring on a moments notice. Going on, "And we have Aly Michalka coming to Dunwich Mansion for a CBAD against Jennifer Morrison. We are still looking for fights for Rosario and Joanne maybe at Dunwich if we can get them worked out by then. Now that you're updated I'll open things up to questions."
Hands fly up and some call out, Salli nods pointing, "HBO guy."
Reporter from HBO, "Allison how does it feel to be the only one on the PPV? And is there any truth to the rumor that you got this fight only because Heather is ducking Ashley?"
Heather Hemmens jumps in, "I'm not ducking anyone! Ash wants to get in the ring we can go!"
Salli interrupts, "There is no ducking going on here, there were talks about a Hemmens vs Tisdale fight, but Heather had a better offer at the Ayslum to face Allison Mack. It was my call."
Allison Scagliotti leans back letting the others get out their response, once Salli is done the red head leans forward, "Weeelll. I personally think it was a Tisdale ploy to claim my buddy the REAL Triple H was ducking her so Tissy would have an excuse when I take her down like I did Carter. As to being the only one on the pay-per-view, well it's a honor to fight on the big stage, but really doesn't matter where we fight the Iffy girls will bring it."
Salli points to the next lucky reporter.
Freelance Reporter, "We've heard who everyone else is fighting, who about you Sara?"
The small blonde leans forward, "I'll be fighting Nicole Schezinger, I want to show everyone the improvements I've made since Beth Harnios."
Salli singles out another, "EPSN."
ESPN 8 Reporter "THE OCHO": "Heather, why are you moving up to Bantam? And against a top twenty fighter like Mack, is that wise?"
Hammerin Heather Hemmens smirks, "I took care of Kat, and I'll wear out a slow plodder like Mack out. When she's sucking wind it's just a matter of hitting a really slow moving target. After that if Ashley wants to keep running her mouth I’ll be happy to shut it for her.”
Salli leans forward, “Negotiation take place all the time, just because a fight doesn’t get signed doesn’t mean it’s never going to happen.”
Before more questions can be asked the trainer adds, “We’ll keep looking for fights and thank all the stables that have stepped up so far to keep us busy working.
The news conference breaks down so reporters can ask more individual questions of the fighters. Salli excuses herself, walking out of the conference room and down the hall to the offices. Sitting in the office at her computer is Jordan Hinson, Salli asks, “Any luck yet?”
Jordan shakes her head, “Nothing yet. There are all these lightweights out there it shouldn’t be this hard to find Rosario and Joanne fights.”
Salli nods, “We’ll just keep trying. I’m sure you’ll be able to get something done soon we done want them sitting too long.”
