Interesting! I don't think I remember any other Amanda decision victory that has her employing her textbook body-processing pressure, only to actually lose the final three rounds which tend to be one of her strengths. Is Brook an unusual opponent for Amanda? I guess she is, but for Kelly, this probably paid off - this is definite "I can compete at welter" proof.
It's easy to get into a welter routine that has Amanda fighting Regan, and possibly Landry, for division-domination questions, but when JKO suggested this, I figured this was just a very interesting fight with lots of potential. I'd love to see more of these fights, and would hope that other managers, possibly of lightweights too, just go ahead and challenge Amanda, just to get some more unusual fighting options. Thanks a lot Sim for a great fight and a great PPV.
