Hayden was undoubtedly the most anticipated pro-debut we've ever had (Lohan also had a lot of buzz) - the highest price ever paid for a rookie contract (eclipsing Lohan)...and she's never been out of the spotlight. Even this loss to Portman has the feel of a temporary setback...Hayden's just too dynamic to deny indefinitely. And yes, time is on her side, though there are no shortage of similarly configured little battle-brats who are heavily motivated to claim against her.
Portman shows how far skill can take you, but it's a perilous course...if Natalie's less than perfect against Hayden, Panettiere will probably take advantage.
