I didn't say Righetti's wins mean zero in the big picture. I say this again, the only way she can be regarded on the same level as Theron is dominating her generation (Regan, Cole, Palicki and Peregrym being the four obvious targets). The way is NOT defeating Theron in any number of fights which will come from now on. Palicki's win over Theron actually means more since it probably was Theron's last chance for the lightweight title.
As impressive as Righetti's stretch since 2009 was, if one follows your logic, it actually means more then Theron's own 10 year stretch and I can't agree with that. But I may be wrong, perhaps 8 out of 10 people over here think that Righetti's the living legend of FCBA and Theron wasn't that impressive after all.
The lact of Righetti vs Theron bouts in 2009/10 (I'm sure there could have been at least three of them) and before the Palicki win in 2011 hampers Righetti's general reception more then Theron's. If Righetti avoided Theron, she cannot make a statement right now because Palicki already made it before her and has to switch into dominating her and the other three top contenders.
And I've checked the records, Righetti's lost to Cole & Regan both times they fought and has never fought neither Palicki nor Peregrym. Based on this I can't say that my 85-15 comments are truly biased. Pwning Landry and Nolin doesn't justify her "bigger then Theron" status IMO.
