Amanda fights at welterweight and I don't think she needs to campaign at two weights simultaneously to garner a reputation. Plus, she's always been fighting lightweights along the way: Garner and Durance for example, and others will follow. Now you're making it sound as if she was just fighting cupcakes for three years. 
What about the welterweight tourney in 2010 then? Or the fact that one-punch-power makes the division much more open to upsets?
This conversation makes it sound as if saying "Theron and Righetti are both great and very impressive fighters" is mutually exclusive, which it clearly shouldn't be.
