I should have made that more clear.
If you remember, Righetti was managed by Technetium back then, who kindly allowed me to co-manage and co-arrange fights for her. I knew there was some problem between Tech and Kim and the Krushers, that's why making duels between fighters like CT and AR was a little difficult. I went ahead and would have liked to see the fight, despite not really working out a plan with Tech. Then the difficulties began: different demands for the fight to happen were exchanged, and at one point it was SIMGUY who called off the fight because he thought all the bickering was stupid and destroyed his motivation to write the fight. That's as best as I can remember it.
Later that year, Charlize retired. Bad luck. I waited some time after she came back to arrange the fight. That was late 2011. I thought it was a great fight. I didn't arrange it late because I figured CT lost power along the way, but because I thought that the loooong buildup made the perfect ingredients for a great, exciting fight.
As for Palicki and other lightweights, I've always said that I wanted to see some of those fights. If you read my 2010 and 2011 year-end reviews, I mention a lot of lightweights to fight in the future. Read my response to Amanda's recent fight with Kelly Brook. These were all invitations, and nobody ever challenged Amanda in response to it. That's one way to look at it, too. I know there was a fight with Erica Durance, who's EVERY bit the fighter Palicki is.
