on 4/6/2012, 12:56 pm, in reply to "CBAD: JENNIFER LAWRENCE VS ASHLEY JUDD"
"I told you she hit hard," Mary Elizabeth Winstead said after Ashley Judd hit the canvas and Jennifer Lawrence won her latest fight.
"Ahhh, Judd is over the hill," Laura Vandervoort insisted, though doubt had seeped into her tone.
"And I am over the hill?" Mary asked sharply.
"Hey, I'm not the one who can't seem to win the FCBA anymore," Laura blurted.
Mary flushed red. If Rachel Nichols and Jennifer Garner hadn't been seated between them, she clearly would taken a swing at her blonde rival.
"That's enough," Jennifer Garner commanded. "You two can spar about this later."
Mary and Laura fell silent, but scowled at each other.
Rachel Nichols had been watching quietly: "You think she'd fight me? I'm taller, but she might think her power could make up for that."
Jennifer Garner smiled: "You know, I was thinking for her as a stop on my 'Farewell Tour'. Though I think poor Ashley should come first."
"That will take time," Rachel argued, "and I hear you've been trying to get Jenny McCarthy into one of her bar fights. I would be available."
"It ought to be me," Laura Vandervoort complained.
"Leave it up to Lawrence and her management," Mary said quietly. "They're the ones who'll decide anyway. Doesn't really matter what we want."
"I'll talk to Beth. Next time there are challenges, we'll see what the Aacademy thinks. Who knows giving them a choice may interest them."
