Our reporter enters Front Street to see all three rings in use. In one, Kristen Stewart works with Jamie Lynn Spears as Pink looks on. In another, Katy Perry works with Ke$ha for Mariska Hargitay. And, in the third, Neve Campbell works with Allison Mack as Britney and Jewel both observe and shout instructions.
The reporter heads that way, only to be intercepted by a smiling Serinda Swan.
Reporter: "What's up, Serinda?"
Serinda(smiling): "Oh, I'm feeling pretty good today. Seeing as a certain BLONDE isn't going to be on this pay-per-view..."
Reporter: "Wait...YOU aren't going to be on it, either..."
Serinda(still smiling): "Right, but that's only because Cuoco had already accepted Swanepoel's challenge and Wiz was being fair. He ACCEPTED Ginny's challenge to ME...and wouldn't make Decker/Upton because he wants to get other girls some work. Know how HAPPY that made Decker?"
Reporter(rolling his eyes): "I'm guessing now. Not very?"
Serinda(smiling): "And she's STILL got her panties in a bunch over the fact that she couldn't beat Deeley as quickly as I did..."
Reporter: "And anything that ticks HER off..."
Grace Park(walking up to join the conversation): "Makes US happy."
Reporter: "Wiz had a challenge for you from Poppy Montgomery...he said you're already spoken for..."
Grace(smiling): "You'll have to talk to Avril. I'm not authorized to talk about fights until they're officially announced."
Reporter(rolling his eyes again): "I swear, sometimes it's harder getting information out of here than it is out of the Pentagon..."
Serinda: "That's because men who leak Pentagon secrets might go to jail. Men who leak Wiz's secrets aren't likely to be that lucky..."
Reporter: "Good point..."
At that moment an auburn-haired beauty walks through the door and makes a beeline for Jewel. The reporter heads that way as well.
Auburn-Haired Beauty: "Is he here, Jewel?"
Jewel(smiling): "To what do we owe the honor, Michelle?"
Michelle: "Just stopping by an allied stable to see how things are...and congratulate Wiz on his first title shot...and, speak of the devil, here he comes!"
The Man In The Hat pops out of the hallway that leads to the offices and heads quickly for Michelle, smiling broadly. "Look who it is! It's the lovely Mishy T from Lookout! Boxing! How's it going, Michelle? Paris need anything?"
Michelle(smiling): "Oh, no. She's doing fine. But. You know how smart Paris is, right?"
Man In The Hat: "Oh, she's sharp. No question about that. Got the best stable in the FCBA. That don't happen by accident!"
Michelle(smiling): "And, she's PARTICULARLY good at math. You know, adding up numbers..."
Man In The Hat: "Well, of COURSE she is, considering the fact that she has quite the large financial numbers to keep track of..."
Michelle(smiling): "I just want you to know that she's been adding some numbers lately and getting some curious results."
Man In The Hat(smiling now): "IS she now?"
Michelle: "Like, for example, the fact that Rachel McAdams came here to train last month. The fact that, as a 'favor' to Foxfire, you provided her Allison Mack, who is VERY similar in style to Elisha Cuthbert, as a sparring partner. The fact that Elisha had made it clear that Neve Campbell would have to wait in line for a title shot, something about which quite a fuss was made. And, finally, the fact that, AFTER Rachel beat Elisha for the title WITH YOUR HELP, Voila! Neve Campbell gets a title shot...one she didn't even have to issue a CHALLENGE to get."
Man In The Hat: "You ever notice how two people can add the same column of numbers and come up with two different results?"
Michelle: "Yes. But only ONE of them can be right..."
Man In The Hat: "But the question is, WHICH one. Tell Paris I said thanks for making the Stewart/Cyrus fight..."
Michelle: "You KNOW Miley's going to kick Stewart's a**, right?"
Man In The Hat: "I know she's CAPABLE of it."
Michelle: "I'm sure you've heard McCarthy's offered to help R-Mac..."
Man In The Hat(smiling): "Sure. I hope they're PAYIN' her. Because, she's gonna need the money after the Beckisale fight. She put a ROCK on the streets in Philly. On herself. Takin' a million of MY action. No percentage in it."
Michelle(shaking her head): "Paris NEVER bets. But we've got a handshake bet. I win, I get a raise. She wins, I have to dress like YOU for a day."
Man In The Hat: "You got McCarthy?"
Michelle: "Yes, I do."
Man In The Hat: "I'll send you the contact info for my hat guy. You're gonna need it."
Michelle(shaking her head): "I've got a plane to catch. But. Just remember. Paris is GOOD at adding things up."
Man In The Hat(smiling): "I'll do that."
As Michelle takes her leave, the reporter says, "Spill it."
Man In The Hat: "There was NO quid pro quo. Now, of course, most people wouldn't put somethin' like that past ME. But, Foxfire don't operate that way. I can add numbers, too, however. And we'll leave it at that."
Reporter(looking around): "Where's Decker?"
Man In The Hat(smiling): "Gave her the day off. She's not on the pay-per-view or the next Asylum. Figured a day or two away from the grind won't hurt the kid."
Reporter: "I hear she's not happy about not being on the PPV."
Man In The Hat: "This is a big stable. I gotta spread out the work so all the fighters get their fights in. Brookie would like to be on EVERY card. Nothin' wrong with that. Can't happen, though."
Reporter: "Speaking of Asylum..."
Man In The Hat: "Let's keep the focus on the pay-per-view. Give it the attention it deserves. We'll talk Asylum later."
Reporter: "How's it feel to finally get a title shot?"
Man In The Hat: "I DIDN'T get a title shot. NEVE did. She earned it, not me. That being said, it feels pretty good, especially since it's Neve. She's pretty important around here..."
Reporter: "So I've noticed..."
Man In The Hat: "Seeing her get this opportunity is good for all the ladies at Front Street. All she's done since she got here is bust her tail and do everything she could to help this stable."
Reporter: "Can she beat McAdams?"
Man In The Hat: "Fight like this, you throw out the stats and the record books. What you have here is an old fashioned rivalry. That being said, the girl who does the best job of puttin' THAT aside and treatin' this like any other fight is gonna win it."
Reporter: "You're not worried about McCarthy helping McAdams?"
Man In The Hat(smiling): "You know what Grace, Jewel, Allison, and Britney all have in common? They've all fought McAdams. And all but Jewel have BEATEN her. We got a pretty good McAdams busting group around here. But, none of that's gonna matter. They've fought each other plenty. They know each other very well. It'll come down to what I said."
Reporter: "Stewart/Cyrus. Perry/Atkinson. Scherzinger/Cook. Three interesting fights..."
Man In The Hat: "Let's not count on them all going. Only so much room. And we'll be happy with whatever we get. But, yeah. Interesting. Cyrus is talented and she can punch. She's a challenge for Stew. Atkinson's a big hitting brawler. Again, she's a challenge for Katy. But, Cook/Scherzinger. That's an interesting fight. Nicky's had some bad losses. And some good wins. She could use a win here. Because AJ is the real deal. And we've got Grace and Allison and Pink...and, of course, Neve ahead of her at bantam..."
Reporter: "Sounds like she could use a win."
Man In The Hat: "That she could. Now, I got work to do. Get outta here!"
