It is with a heavy heart and much regret that I announce all attempts to obtain administrator status for either myself or anybody else associated with the board has not met with success. As a result, the only reasonable alternative to make necessary updates to the board and combat spam, is to create a new board. To that end, I have created a new board at:

Which will be, going forward, for all intents and purposes, the new FCBA message board. If that's okay with our loyal members and fans. Unfortunately, given the fact that we have this board and it will still be up, the name FCBA was taken. So, we have the FCBA2, as a reminder of how this message board has served us well. I'm sure many of you have fond and warm memories of this message board over the years. Feel free to share them in the comments or in a separate thread as we bid farewell.
There is no rush over to the new message board. Take your time and feel free to continue to post here for a while until the transition is complete. And of course, with this new board, administrator status is taken care of so this issue will never, ever happen again.
I've tried to make the new message board as close as possible to this one, although that will still take some work. By all means, make suggestions and voice your opinion so we can make the new message board as good as possible.
One of the nice new things about the new message board is that we can do polls, so if somebody has an idea, we can poll the rest of the FCBA members to see what the majority thinks about a particular issue., though I haven't personally tested it out to see how well it works. However, feel free to try out the poll feature and other new features as you test out the new message board.
I put in a welcome post to point out a few of the other new interesting features on the board, which hopefully everybody can enjoy. While the spam has been annoying and frustrating for all, if there is a silver lining, it's that this can be a fresh start and adventure for the board in general. Please e-mail or contact me with any concerns, questions or ideas.
And, of course, I am sorry about the message board. Hopefully the transition goes as smoothly as possible and we can use this to improve, enhance and make the FCBA experience even more enjoyable than ever.
