I was called by a SS to do a closing tomorrow, edocs, I was in my car & didn't have my list of "bad" SS with me. I said o.k. & went on my way. When I arrived home I found that it is a VERY bad SS that even you have said "they didn't pay" (there are 2 with the same name & 1 is ok, 1 is not) so I called them back and explained that I would not do the closing due to their reputation of not paying the notaries. They said "fine" and that was that. I then received a call from the Title Co. confirming my email addy for the edocs. I told them I would not be doing the closing & why. They too said "ok" & hung up. 1/2 hr later I receive another call from the Title Co. asking if I would like to sign up with their company & be put in their data base. I said I would & they emailed app.etc., I faxed it back. Another 1/2 hr later I'm called back by the Title Co. for the same closing. Was this a "no no" on my part?
