Even tho you have signed up with different agencies, I would suggest that you get certified. In my opinion, The SIgning Registry is the best. You can order a training manual which delves into many aspects and even tho it is somewhat pricey..it's one reference book you will go back to time and time again (or at least I do). The do offer a cerfification process and in my experience, I started getting called quite a bit more after I received my cetification. Additionally, they offer a mentorship program where mentors will help. Read Read Read all the forums...you can find. There is an unmeasurable amount of information in the forums. Please don't post "I'm new...can you help me". It takes time and it takes your personal motivation to research various items. THere are many "free" databases to sign up with. I know when I first got started, I signed up with every signing company I could find. Most of them are free. You should be signed up with a least 100 signing companies. Do you have a webpage? What are you doing to market yourself?
