Business is very slow at this time. Signing agents taking other jobs because the work is just not there. Companies are using more experienced signing agents.
Most companies won't allow "ride alongs" because of borrower privacy issues.
A couple of years ago this business was "booming", but no longer.
Hate to sound negative, but it is the way the business is.
BTW check out www.notaryrotary.com That is a busy message board, lots of experienced signing agents posting there.
