Sylvia...while I agree with everything you said in your post below and follow it, I have recently come across a notarization that was missing part of the venue and using the name in the notary seal as the printed name underneath the signature that was accepted and recorded in Lake County. I don't know if it would have been accepted elsewhere, but there does seem to be some discretion and exceptions to the printed name rule.
