Posted by brett enjoy the rest of your trip and see if you can lend a hand to some of those unfortunate people that can't go to nice old sydney on 2nd of jan.. ps.. also be carefull.. usually aftershocks are about 1 richter less than the original quake.. which means aftershocks of 7.9 and that is still one of the biggest quakes ever.. so no swimming for a while... or rock climbing.. and if you seek shade. NOT under a freeway.. all the best ... brett ps, on the other hand surfs up!
