Is it necessary to kill additional life? Are you forced to? Certainly if you can afford firearms and ammunition, you can afford to go down to the grocery store and buy meat that has already been slain. Why kill additional life if it is not necessary, especially sentient animals such as deer? God knows that enough life is taken daily by our own road systems here in Humboldt County. It is simply barbaric to be able to look into the eyes of an innocent animal, knowing that we took land away from them and infringed on their home causing them to live in fear, and knowing that it IS NOT necessary to shed this life, but nevertheless taking the sight out of those kind eyes and ridding that innocent mind free of thought, by savagely shooting that poor creature in the only home it has left.
