My father, Sterling Davenport (maybe known as Red?), was an AP in the 1604th. He made comments about being in a movie called "A Bermuda Affair" and also mentioned an airplane exploding for unspecific reasons. Seems like he helped contribute to an unlikeable senior officer's breakdown by convicing the man his attractive wife was unfaithful. He didn't talk about it much, he passed April 18 '07. Does any of this ring true to anyone else's recollections? My father died a man at peace with his past.
