What ever happened to the Fortuna Co-op?

I'm moving back to the north coast after an absence of almost 20 years, and seem to remember that at one time there was a co-op in town, part of the North Coast Co-op I think that still has stores in Eureka and Arcata. Was I imagining things? And anybody know if there are plans to open one?
