North Coast Training Opportunity! - Sept. 8-10 RFENC is so excited about offering this training to families that live on the coast in Northern California! There are scholarships available for parents! The training will be in the beautiful town of Fortuna. We will have a special Parent Leadership Training for selected Parent Leaders in the communities! This training will cover understanding IDEA from a historical perspective, identifying local leadership opportunities, telling your story effectively and much more! We will provide IEP Preparation Training, IDEA 2004 Laws and Regulations, Medical Home Binder Training and an Early Childhood Strand. There will be workshops for parents free of charge. There will be parent scholarships available to those who live in Del Norte, Humboldt, Mendocino & Lake counties to help with lodging costs and travel expense!
